Jeff Fleming is a partner at Hippo & Fleming Law Offices and specializes
in estate planning, business planning, and estate and trust administration.
He received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Jefferson College and
his law degree from the Duquesne University School of Law.
Jeff has also been serving his clients’ insurance and financial services
needs for nearly twenty years and recently established his independent financial
services firm in Altoona, PA. He is a Registered Securities Principal and an
Investment Advisor Representative. He is also a life insurance producer and
past MDRT qualifier.
Jeff is a Contributing Editor for Planet Newsletter, LLC and regularly writes
articles for the publication. He also serves as the “Money Insider”
for www.ThirdAge.com,
a web site providing resources relevant to the lives of individuals age fifty
and older.
Jeff is a member of the Blair County Bar Association and of the American Academy
of Estate Planning Attorneys, an organization which promotes and fosters excellence
in estate planning. He is a past president of the Altoona Area Association of
Insurance and Financial Advisors (AAAIFA), currently serves as Vice-President
for the Pennsylvania Association Insurance and Financial Advisors (PAIFA) and
is the Chair of NAIFA’s Young Advisors Team (YAT). He is also active in
a number of other professional associations and community organizations, including
as a founding member of The Center for Adoption Education of Central Pennsylvania.
Jeff and his wife Karen live in Hollidaysburg with their five year old daughter
Isabel who they adopted from Cambodia in 2001. Their adoption was featured on
ABC’s 20/20 television program. They also have three other adult children.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys traveling, hunting, motorcycling and watching
movies with his family.
